Light up your favorite haunt…. we Show You How!

We like to choose areas around our houses to decorate seasonally, a chandelier is a perfect spot! There are so many ways to add the season or holiday, and for Halloween a slithering snake would be the star this year. His bright orange would surely show off against the black sparkle pine garland.

Gathering the supplies, plenty to choose from, light weight is important when hanging and attaching to a chandelier!

A lightweight glitter pine garland (2 each) are a great base to intwine in the arms of the Chandelier, the orange and purple balls add a pop of color!

The first step is to clean your light fixture while the ladder is out! Then add the garland, and intwine on the arms of the chandelier, pulling some of the branches up and down. Then add one garland from the ceiling down the chain, winding around.

4″ wide wired ribbon is a great addition, and can be used for any celebration or holiday. We could reuse these ties with the Christmas Theme Winter Whimsy available online at our store  http://www.ShowMeDecorating.com

Ribbon is the 1st key ingredient we suggest in all our decorating!

I would paint the coffee table black. I am afirad the stain won’t seem like a big enough change for you since your wood is more dark than natural color. I also think the white would be too stark and stick out with the warm colors of your rug and sofa. I think if you painted the chandy with oil rubbed bronze spray paint it would be pretty. Still dark but with a little metallic shimmer!
