Show Me Blueberry Pie for 4th of July!

Have you ever heard the phrase “As easy as pie!”?

Well we have an easy 4th of July pie!

Easy as Pie! for the 4th of July!

Easy as Pie! for the 4th of July!

This recipe was served to us over 30 years ago by Sandra (a Baptist preacher’s wife and family friend) We thought it was the best pie ever, especially in the summer time! We could not believe how simple the recipe was!

At Show Me Decorating we always start with a theme, and this Bunko party our mom is hosting is no exception. Because it is the week of July 4th, the patriotic theme and color story of Red,White and Blue is perfect! She gathered up all her collection of patriotic goodies and the tables were done! (most came from the Dollar Store)

I will definitely have to try this, so easy! I love to make desserts for family gatherings, and usually make homemade pie crusts, but sometimes with a busy schedule it can be stressful. Thanks for sharing!

I love this receipt. Thanks for reminding me. I have not made it in a long time. Happy 4th!
